Whoa, very long time no see.  I've basically been stalking dA these last couple of years since I haven't really been a contributing member of the art scene since my last space pic.  What has happened since then is that I got a widescreen monitor that compelled me to update each space pic to better fit that monitor.  I did that in stages over the last year and only posted the changes to my blog, but not to dA.So over the next couple of days I'll be updating the gallery here with the latest versions of the wallpapers - I'll upload them as a pack so that all resolutions I created are available here on dA without having to reroute you to my si...

Almost 7 months since I did anything artsy worth putting up on this site. Six Feet Under The Stars There; an end to that hiatus, and the beginning of another one.

+1 new piece of space art as my entry to nameless-designer's space art competition on deviantArt.In researching some of the background behind that image, I came across the Live Journal site of the author of the books from which I drew a bit of inspiration. I expected a couple of things while the page was loading, but what I didn't expect was for his posts to make me laugh. Particularly, this reply to a comment on his 'classification' of what makes sci-fi a sci-fi: Normally, it would count, except that you only used one exclamation point, and did not use all caps for any word; looking carefully, I do not see anywhere that you say you "pwn...
