Welcome to the UHC, the ultimate horse lovers group! Please Read before joining or submitting anything into this group! Joining: We'd love to have you become a member of this club. Just click the "Join our Group" option at the top of this page! Submission Rules: 1. No violence, gore, racist, hate-art or political/ highly opinionated art or literature. We are here to enjoy horses and we are not a platform for fetishes or politics. 2.Only horse art please! 3.Please limit your submissions to only 2 deviations per day, submissions above two a day will be declined. That way we give everyone a chance to be noticed and we won't flood our watcher's inboxes with too much art. 4. Submit your work into the right folder, please! Traditional art goes into the "Traditional Horse Art" folder, Digital art goes into the "Digital Horse Art" folder, etc. 5. You must be a member to submit art into this group! Rules: 1.This is a club for horses. So please, only horse art. That doesn't mean you can't submit mythical or fantastic horses, though. Or members of the equine family (donkey's, zebra's, and mules). 2.Be respectful to all members, non-members and admins. The Featured Folder This folder is saved for pieces that really stand out to the admins. It is updated frequently. The Breed of the Month (BOTM) Every month the group features a different breed of horse. This breed is voted for by the members. We encourage our members to submit drawings and photos to the BOTM folder. And we hope that members will try their hand at finding/drawing new breeds! Above all have fun and we appreciate any art you are willing to share with us! |

Dear Members,
As you have probably noticed the group has been quite inactive nowadays. I would like to apologize for all the expired submissions and give you a quick update on what was going on in the background.
Unfortunately, the founder of Ultimate-horses-club has left Deviant Art without any notification or even saying goodbye and all the contributors became inactive too. I noticed it when I started to feel myself alone with handling the increasing amount of incoming submissions.
Considering the nice history and the number of members still being active I decided not to let the group vanish. I contacted DA support to inquire, whether it is possible to receive founder's rights (with full access) on a group without the original founder's permission, as she has permanently left DA.
According to their response, it is possible, however all the contributors have to vote Yes for the dedicated person. So I sent a note to all of them asking for their help. I have never received any response, which is very sad, considering that some of them seem to be active based on the activity history on their personal profile page...
At the end DA Support closed my ticket saying that without contributor approval they cannot assist further. So currently the group has no founder.
Despite that I am not planning to leave it - I don't want to let You down. However, I am currently alone with approving and moderating the submissions and my free time is limited, therefore I am looking for long-time, committed help.
♦ If you feel enthusiasm for reviewing the submissions
♦ If you have the passion for community management
♦ If you are full of ideas how to make the group more attractive and live again
♦ and preferably, if you have experience with group management on DA
♦ If you would like to become a contributor of Ultimate-horses-club
Send the group a note with a short introduction /group management experiences (if any) / your motivations and future plans.
Thank for understanding and sorry again for the inconvenience you have been rexperiencing regarding the expired submissions.
