Counting EXP / Official Counter

EXP is obtained by drawing images or writing/roleplaying your Felvarg, below we have broken down the details of what each image will be worth. The above EXP counter will detail any qualifying entry you have created by filling in the provided form. Members will track EXP gained in their official trackers and level by gaining EXP.

RECOLORED

Recolored artwork is worth half of its initial value. Recolored artwork consists of images used multiple times to color different Felvargs on the same image.

Simple [Sani] +1.5 EXP ( Example of simple: Blink - Ear twitch - Growl - Tail flick - Breathing - Pinning ears - Emotion alterations )

Complex [Cani] +3 EXP ( Example of complex: 3 or more simple actions - Run/walk cycle - Jumping - Rolling - Spinning - Additional background animation )

SCULPTURES

Sculptures require color in order to count as EXP. They cannot be recolored and each sculpture must be unique.

In order to be counted as offical EXP all artwork must link to a Felvargs official Import or Database Image.

Bonuses such as Figurehead/Mentor/Fame must note from whom they are receiving the bonus on their tracker

Hi there! To submit for Felvarg for their Passage of Courtship and then their Hierarchy Updates after that you would go to our monthly February - Hierarchy Updates journal under the corresponding thread. (Keep in mind that journal will change monthly, and can always be found on the front page of www.deviantart.com/felvargs. No tracker is required for Passage of Courtship entries, but after that is completed you can submit for the other levels in order as you achieve the needed exp. im trying to build a felvarg tracker and I'm confused about something...im adding exp for PoC (which, in the PoC journal it says is plus 5 experience for bronze medal), but its also not commissioned, fullbody, shaded, and a background... do I add up all of that or just the passage of courtship (10 in total since she got 2 PoC) and the other exp is just for things like quests and activities?

sorry im a huuge newb and only just got time to do felvarg stuff

For adding the medal to your EXP tracker, you can just link to the proof of your medal and say +5 EXP! If you'd like, you can see how I've added it to one of my Felvargs trackers here, the first two links being the PoCs and the third being the medal: Beatrice 984 -- EXP Tracker

The EXP calculator on the site has "Fullbody Image" written as "Fullbody Lined"; does this still mean the same thing regardless? Like, if I make a piece that is fully a painterly style as in no visible lineart due to full rendering, can I still tick the "Fullbody Lined" option to get the EXP for a fullbody image?

Sorry about the delayed response, we do take styles into account. As long as it's fully rendered, it means the same thing regardless.

If the image exceeds 500 x 500 it will award background experience. It just needs to imply the Felvarg is in the background in some way.

Just curious, but if you roleplay with someone, do you just count up all the posts you did or the entire thing between you and the other person/felvarg for literature credit?

Also, how do you tally up comic pages? Is is per panel or is there like an overall thing?

You would count the entire thing for literature credit.

As for comic pages, we don't have a system of EXP for that just yet. However, for now, you could tally it per panel.

Is it possible to get shading and colour bonuses with chibis, or does it not matter how detailed they are, they're always just 1 EXP?
Just checking so I count my little batch right once they've been uploaded.

You can get shading and colored bonuses with chibis! The EXP would be as follows:

CHIBI/SPRITE (Fullbody option ONLY)

Chibi/Sprite [Chi] +.5EXP

Colored [Chi+c] +.5EXP

Shaded [Chi+cs] +1EXP

Was "Battleground" renamed "Feral Recruiting"? I was trying to calculated the exp for my two recruiting entries and I couldn't remember if that's what it was.

Feral Recruiting is what takes place at the battlegrounds so they are the same thing.
