Dr Bloka, The Mad Scientist of the Anarch Legion

The Anarch Legion's top maniacal scientist, gadget engineer and biologist with a passion for the extreme, Dr. Velairus Bloka is the arch nemesis of the Preon gang. Hailing from the dark-water planet of Barkanos, Bloka's species, the Petromights, are a rather strange and unique species, resembling a cross between a batfish and a frog with only 3 limbs used for locomotion. Bloka is the most infamous out of all Petromights as her reputation goes beyond her allegiance with the terroristic Anarch Legion. Bloka was once a young and avid student in the scientific field of cosmology, fascinated by the mysteries of the galaxy and the legends surrounding the Seekers of Life, The Sea of Shadows and many other mysteries that some scientists and explorers feared to uncover. She believed that, when it came to science, nothing has its limits; one is free to experiment and hypothesis anything they wish to benefit society and uncover the greatest questions in the universe. She had made many breakthroughs she believed would earn her the reputation she rightfully deserved, but the galaxy believed her methods were too extreme, too controversial and dangerous for her to continue, some even beyond immoral. This act of defiance and rejection from society angered her greatly and thus she was casted out. She devoted her life in exploring the unknown, and now that was taken from her. Over time, she faded into obscurity, so to did her recognition. Yet, lurking somewhere in the darkest parts of the universe, there were those who found out about her ambitions and they wanted to exploit it, much to Bloka’s pure satisfaction.
Currently, Dr. Bloka works with the Black Regime as their personal scientist, designing weapons and gadgets so destructive that it would make the people fear her achievements rather than shun them. Her chance to finally continue her work without restrictions of morality and to make the galaxy pay for her ambition was on the horizon. Finally, Bloka could show the universe what it was like to not take risks and remain in a society of doubt, but her plans may yet again be thwarted. The Preon have now become the galaxy's greatest hope in saving all the oppressed races from the Legion's wicked motives, much to Bloka's despair. Time after time, they continue to thwart her plans, destroy her greatest work and continue to be a nuisance, proving her theory that the galaxy is a danger to itself if they won't allow her to give her a chance. It is a war between morality and honour, a war between the mad scientist Dr. Bloka and the intergalactic heroes Deltron, Piarah, Karn Byrus and Tashi Hakutaru.
Like all Petromights, Bloka is extremely agile and quick when it comes to manoeuvrability. Her single back leg allows her to hop and jump at great distances and heights. Her three legs can also act as spare arms whenever the task requires her to use multiple hands. So in terms of her physical ability, what she lacks in strength, she makes up for her agility. But it's more than just her legs that makes her day quick and easy. As a self-proclaimed genius, Bloka has a rather impressive IQ of nearly 140 which is demonstrated much by her achievements and intelligence, yet this has also lead her to be extremely cunning and, ironically, mentally unhinged at time due to her pride, eccentric quirk and extremely sadistic behaviour, which is why she is often referred to as a "Mad Scientist". It is both her greatest strength and weakness. And with madness comes many wacky and crazy inventions and gadgets that even the Preon have trouble with at times. 

CREATOR'S NOTE: This is another redesign of an old character I did back in the day, and I'm glad this one got a much needed redesign as I thought her original design was woefully outdated and need a much desired makeover. In a way, I am happy with how the redesign turned out. Still a little cartoony, but it's detailed enough to look good enough. Hope you enjoy this new and unique design of Dr. Bloka.
