We get so used to seeing heretic astartes fighting their loyalist cousins that we forget how utterly terrifying it would be to have a 9-foot-tall supersoldier in invulnerable power armor smashing through everything in its way for the sole purpose of painting his armor with your blood...

This is fantastic. It's great to see artwork that really brings home how terrifying these are meant to be; having a Guardsman there to reinforce how huge the Raptors are is massive, and the night vision camera allows you the best view you'd probably ever get of them until you're shredded by lightning claws. It's an impression it can be difficult to receive from solo portraits where the Night Lords aren't 'in their natural habitat' (dropping out of the night sky to tear us puny humans limb from limb). Amazing work.

Screw zombies rushing out of the night at you, I want to see this pulled off in a Warhammer 40k game! Having to play as an Imperial Guard, defending against a Space Marine raid, would be an interesting challenge as a gamer. Very well done!
