So earlier I posted that Villaintober would feature 23 general enemies, 7 bosses, and 1 especially noteworthy boss. After getting this far, I think I'd like to shuffle this plan a little. Bosses tend to be more interesting than the run of the mill cannon fodder, and with the two entries per franchise rule, things are getting a wee bit weird in an attempt to find new characters to draw. Also, there's an odd blooper in the original roster I wrote up, as it's possible to list one character as a general enemy and as a boss, depending on where you are in the game.
Thus, starting tomorrow, we're doing boss characters. This brings the final roster
As I mentioned in the previous journal, this year I'll be spending Drawtober/Inktober drawing some of my favorite enemies from video games.
To make things a little easier for myself, I've compiled a list of what will be drawn. It's not entirely complete, as the list is short by a few characters, but I'm known for deviating from the plans I make anyway, so it should still work. Also, the list isn't compiled by date or in any particular order; it's just a roster of what I want to draw.
Most of enemies I picked are from well known or somewhat well known games, though there are about five or six rather esoteric choices thrown in for good measur
Last year, I drew my top 31 Robot Masters (+Wily Machine) for a Mega Man-themed Drawtober / Inktober. This didn't actually work out as well as planned; it was late April 2019 when I finished 'em all. Late 2018 and 2019 in general has been an utter train wreck conga line for us, hence the delay. I'm not expecting things to improve terribly, but I'd like to try Drawtober again and perhaps even finish all 31 images before Easter.
So I've been thinking about it, and I've decided that this year, the theme is going to be interesting video game villains -- 23 of the mooks I love to hate, 6 of the bosses I love to bring down, and the Boss to Rule Th
For about five years now, I've been going on long hikes with my parents. During these hikes, I've brought along my cameras, and I've taken a large number of pictures over the years.
However, for various reasons, I've pretty much just stuffed the photos I've taken into dusty corners of my hard drive and cloud storage.
This has changed.
Recently I've decided that it's finally time to go through the thousands of images I've stored away, touch them up, and submit them to DA. This means that there will soon be a flood of photos coming from this account. I'm going to use Sta.sh to spread them out over time, but we're still looking at a few thous
