My Bio
Born and raised in Minnesota on the Mesabi Iron Range, 60 miles North of Duluth, I followed my dreams to Richmond, Virginia and then to New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles. I've survived tornadoes, earthquakes and hurricanes while struggling to eke out a living as a painter, a writer, an actor and a photographer.

It's been an enormously busy year. Love having my own studio. Love that I'm paid for my work and that I make my living off it. Sad that I don't get to spend much time photographing nature, though. Just lots and lots of weddings, babies, high school seniors and family portraits. I'm a month behind in getting people their pictures. And being the only employee in my small business, that's the way the ball bounces for now. My butt gets sore from all the time I spend editing. I no longer have a butt... it flattened completely out.
