How did you do the yolk and egg white, is that made from polygons or nurbs or did you use something else

the yolk is made using a sphere and for the egg white, i modeled a plane in a random shape and applied nCloth and made it fall over the yolk(passive collider), so that it takes shape of the yolk. the nCloth didnt come out very properly though.

why are there only seven planets?
Reply
:iconviscountdevil:
ViscountDevil Featured By Owner Nov 18, 2011
There aren't. Mercury is very small and they don't count Pluto anymore. Venus is the red one in between the egg and the earth. Well really between Mercury and Earth, but since it's so small..

then where is mars? if earth's moon is represented... cant that small one next to the red thing also be a moon?
dont get me wrong i really love this concept i just think it could be revised some ^^
i even favorited this because i like it so much. i just cant seem to see how all the planets are properly represented. jupiter should be the largest. among other things.

Mars is right after Earth >.> It's the red one that's after Earth and it's red-orange. Mercury looks like Earths' moon, so the first one is Mercury. It's also the same size as Earths's moon, as you can see the moon next to Earth, so compare the two. I do believe the person that made this knows quite a bit about the planets so it shouldn't be hard to find the planets here unless you're a 3rd grader, no offense.

"no offense" is just saying "im gonna be really fucking rude but dont get mad"
im not saying anything about anyone's competence. just things i observed. if there arent any OTHER moons than Earth's shouldnt really be there either.
and jupiter should in fact be larger than saturn. just saying.
have a good day :D

It is bigger, Saturn just appears bigger because of the ring. Besides, they are almost the same size, Jupiter is slightly bigger.

Neat concept, but you're having some serious planetary scale issues. I can understand wanting to preserve detail with the earth, but Jupiter is MUCH bigger than Saturn, and Earth and Venus should be roughly the same size.

I really love your idea here, but the image is a bit grey and flat, Can you push any more colour into it? :D

Maybe the artist wanted to make it grey and flat.
