i’ve been called shy and i’ve been called sweet;
the type of girl you'd like to meet.
long walks on the beach:
with my feet in the sand
and your hand
holding mine.
i imagine your lips would taste like saccharine wine.
i’ve seen our kiss a thousand times…
unexpected and without regret where you skin touches mine
my heart leaps at such a feat – we’re eternal, it must be a sign.
of course – we haven't spoken a word
only a slight exchange of our eyes.
i can see our future: mister and missus embroidered in gold.
i know my heart has been sold.
you smile,
i smile.
you’re the guy of my dreams
