There's something about the atmosphere of jump maps and montages that I really appreciate. To me, it's a relaxed environment where you don't have to worry about other people killing you, but it offers a challenge to your skills of mobility (save for quint syncs, telesyncs, and wallpogos). I like the feeling of being able to take in my surroundings while playing through what's essentially an obstacle course that tests your movement.
Cube is probably my favourite jump map in aesthetic and atmosphere. It's got this mystical sci-fi feel to it and its beauty is in the small fragments of chaos littered in its stage and its skybox. My skill level only means that right now, I'm able to complete the first course, but seeing that spinning cube at the end of Course A still gives me a wonderful feeling of accomplishment and happiness.
