Alice Margatroid, Snanghai doll and Rumia from Touhou Project game series.
Alice is possessed puppeteer, while Rumia is man-eating monster. But in my Gensokyo I can do what I want, so they will drink tea instead of blood and eat cakes instead of flesh.

Walkthrough: ipic.su/img/img7/fs/0102013M03…

Now about those busts on the table. The first is queen Victoria. I hope, I drew her properly, so you can reckognize her easily. The second one represents Hector MacDonald, also known as Fighting Mac. He served as a subaltern in the First Boer War, then during the Mahdist War he commanded a brigade of the Egyptian army. During Second Boer War he commanded the Highland Brigade instead of killed major-general Wauchope.

That painting of the wall is 'Return from Inkerman' by Lady Butler. Painting depicts the event of Crimean War, when the survivors from the Coldstream Guards and the 20th East Devonshire Regiment returned to their camp after bloodshed on Inkerman. As you can see, I didn't just copied and pasted the image, I redraw it to improve my poor skills. Some day I'll be able to draw horses amd men properly, I hope.

I must admit, to great shame, that I hadn't ever seen this before; and only found out that you had done Touhou art through Danbooru. It's a beautiful piece.

This is glorious! And I find your Gensokyo very agreeable. Alice and Rumia match nicely.

May i ask if history was your favorite subject when you were a student or maybe you just like historical artwork?

Well, I always liked to read historical novels and more serious histrorical books about different epochs and nations. Such books are much more interesting for me than fiction. It is like assembling mosaic of the past in your mind, and every book is the piece of it. Unfortunately, my drawing skill is too low for drawing historical artworks, so I'm still drawing Touhou and other not serious pictures for training purposes.

It is amazing how you redrew the painting! It makes this whole picture look so much more ballanced and complicated
