This is mostly for me to write down who requested what drawing from me in the warship theme. For those who did not get on the list but asked me to draw something please send a note or reply here so I would not forget them again :)
The list does not imply any order of work!
Also I'm European (Hungarian) so I always use the metric system first

From VoidSamukai :icontheabyssalsamurai:

Progress: Kaga is done.

From uglygosling :iconuglygosling:
Modernised South Dakota I class Battleship
Progress: Finished

I might have to cancel some of these requests due to time passed and lack of opportunity to finish. As for which to cancel it's still undecided but I would go for the Michigan class and the hypothetical Soviet warships and maybe the modernised Akagi.

I wish my specs were not limited but could you do my Fictional Egyptian Battlecruiser? I based it off Scharnhorst with some Japanese Kongo Features mixed in. If you don't wish to,  then I will not request. the main belt is 310mm thick (31cm) but you can surprise me with your own additions. I tried to make it as close to WW1 Standard Design.

Yes my skills vastly improved since I first started using the current software, and even more since I've started drawing-editing warships.
My very first edit:

Do you remember about my asking if you could do the USS South Dakota (BB-49) modernized as the USS Tennessee (BB43) was in 1942-1943? Please let me know if you need more information.

You may, if the friend mentions that the drawing was originally commissioned by me. I assume you remember the AU South Dakota 1 is based on the USS Tennessee after her 1942-1943 modernization? :)

Not to mention the first USS South Dakota was a Pennsylvania class Armoured cruiser succeeded by the Tennessee class armoured cruisers.

Indeed, it was renamed Huron in 1920 to release the state name for the battleship, and was scrapped in 1930.

It looks like I am guilty of confusing you! What I asked for was indeed the South Dakota I class battleship, had they been completed in the 1920s as designed and later modernized with superstructure and secondary armament and increased beam similar to the USS Tennessee in 1944. Does this help? Please accept my apologies.

The modernized Tennessee had a superstructure similar to the USS South Dakota II class battleships!

This modernisation will be similar to the USS West Virginia but with 5 AA turrets per side though that is maybe yet to change

I had originally imagined the modernized South Dakota 1s with four 5" twin mounts per side, though 5 would certainly seem possible, the ships were after all much larger than previous USN BBs, with more space and tonnage to work with.  Looking forward to seeing what you eventually come up with

Yes more space was available but the high middle deck and the unique funnel takes up much of the space, but I think you will like the result. I was able to put almost as many Bofors quads on her as on the North Carolinas!

Uh... You got the number of turrets wrong... Six eleven inch guns in two triple guns. Sixteen 5.5 inch guns in eight twin turrets.
