I am still recovering, but I am doing well!  I already feel a bazillion times better than I did!

The surgery was actually delayed until the 14th because they got in two cadaver donors the day before, and they had to go first.  So rather than potentially putting a tired surgeon on my kidney, they just delayed the surgery.  I was ok with that!

The hospital said that it was the fastest working kidney they have had!  It started working as they were wheeling me to the ICU!  Typically, they keep patients for about 5 or more days, but they sent me home a day early because I was doing so well!

I am staying with my mom for a bit at her BnB before I go back home, and have been really good about taking my meds on time and doing what I need to do.  Not crazy about the twice a week blood draws, but everything is entirely worth it.  I am enjoying my stay at the inn, but I am also excited to be able to get back to doing some more art and such.

New life, so much awesome.
OMFG, I just can't even right now. I really have no words.

Everything is clear.  I have a Pre-op appointment tomorrow, and a Kidney Transplant scheduled for August 10th.

That's the day before my Birthday.  ;.;  Best. Birthday. Present. Ever.

I just can't even.
Ok, well, I was back a bit ago, but shh. I had some things I had to immediately deal with, so some things had to wait.

Chunar horse did not win the custom competition, but that's ok!  I am SO HAPPY that I made it that far with one of my pieces!  It's still amazing, and I got a gorgeous ribbon and small model out of it too! I already have plans for next year as to what I'll be submitting.

Wolf Breyer has been sold and is not available.  Thank you to the awesome person who took him home!

Caribou/Reindeer is still available for purchase! He is $500 plus shipping/insurance. Funds from him will go towards my kidney fund- so if you want him, speak up!  Time payments are possible, depending on how long.  Let me tell you, he is a head turner!  Nearly every single person who came into my room saw him and thought he was amazing and awesome.  But alas, no one took him home!

I also have a few other models for sale before I pack them away- holler if you'd like them.

Vahana- $120
Kaalee- $100
Navya- $50
Tushar- $50
Glossy Cosette- $70
Chestnut Calvin- $50
Art Nouveau- $75

Models do not include shipping. All sales final.
Has it been a year already?

I am SO incredibly happy to announce that the Chunar horse has been picked as one of the THREE finalists in the Fantasy division for the Customs contest at Breyerfest!! OMG!!! ...!!!!!

I CANT EVEN right now! I am just... so incredibly floored and honored that one of my creations made it this far!

I'm in my own Room at the Clarion this year, and i will have my Caribou and Wolf horse there as well (yes, they are for sale). Come say hi! I'm in room 443!

(ps, yes still waiting for a kidney))
..and I had a BLAST!
I met some pretty awesome people, and got to see some AMAZING horses!  I got to see Nazruddin, the Marwari Celebration horse, pretty up close (he stallion screamed in my face); Hwinn, an awesome little Mustang; and my favorite- Thunder, a Morgan gelding with the best and goofiest personality ever!

I'll be posting my diorama entry in just a bit here-- sadly it didn't win, or even place.  That's ok though!  I still greatly enjoy the piece.  It's not for sale right now, unless someone comes along and makes me an offer that I can't refuse.

Sleipnir, the eight-legged horse, also was not chosen for the finals for the custom contest and did not sell in the room, so he IS for sale. He's $300, which includes shipping inside the US.

I also have some goodies left over for those of you who might be interested! Photos will be soon to come, but I DO have some of those cute little horse charm necklaces left, as well as paint your own resin medallions, and some customs.
Hey Everyone,
I've gotten a lot of inquiry about Commissions lately, and I wanted to post where I stand and what is happening with these.

Do I take or will I do Breyer Commissions or Commissions in general?
Yes and no. I'm sorry, but for the most part, I will not be doing commissions -Breyer or otherwise.  I've decided that my limited energy would best be put to use on things that I would like to do and accomplish, and takes a lot of stress off from me.  I will, though, happily accept suggestions on what you want to see (Note me if you have one!), and will be offering the creations that I finish--Breyer, sculpture, etc--up for sale.

HOWEVER!  Please don't despair, I may take one or two in the future- We'll see how it goes.

Thanks everyone for understanding!
Hey Everyone!
I know I haven't given you an update in a looong time (sorrysorrysorry), but I wanted to let everyone know how I was doing.  I'm doing GREAT. I still am waiting for a transplant, but way of life has gotten easier for me.  I've been trying to pull myself away from online games in order to do what I enjoy most doing- Artwork!  ..and of course sometimes helping my mother at her Bed and Breakfast.

So!  Lately I've been working hard in order to prepare for Breyerfest. I've literally been saving all year in order to go, and it takes much planning to actually go, but it's very much worth it to let me escape out of state for a few days.  You may start to see some things uploaded (WHAAT!) that I've been doing on the side to prepare.

Also wanted to let you guys know that YES, I still have Pathfinder Decks still available for those still looking for some.  Decks are $33, which includes shipping inside of the continental US. Additional Decks are $25, and I can send up to 3 decks total. If you're on the fence about getting one, GO FOR IT.  Supplies are limited, and any that I have left by July (if i have any!) Will go to Breyerfest with me.  HALF the deck proceeds will go to helping one of my BFF's go to Breyerfest with me because she's awesome like that. Hit me up at tyreenya[at]gmail[dot]com.
OMFG, guys. I think this is one of the happiest days of my life so far.  Today I went to my transplant center and I am now transplant LISTED. ;________________;!!!

So if you are seriously interested (or know someone who is interested) in donating a kidney, here's some basic info for you:

~My insurance will pay everything except for travel and time off of work

~Expect to be out of work for 4-6 weeks, and have a lifting restriction.

~MUST be A or O bloodtype (but even this will not rule you out, because there is an opportunity to do a chain.)

Donors must also be in good general health, and 18 or over.  There is some more information about that here:…

If this is something any of you would like to do, PLEASE shoot me an email at and I will give you the coordinator's name and number to walk you through the process. The initial phonecall will first involve a series of questions, then they will most likey ask you to do some tests and bloodwork to see if you're more closely compatible.
So from my last entry, I was supposed to go back into hemodialysis for two weeks so that my peritoneal membrane could heal.  I WAS going to offer commissions in that period of time, but I am not anymore.  Here's what happened:

When I went into hemo that night, I was put in the isolation room and was super super nervous.  I still had anesthesia in my system from the surgery the day before, and I was on some massive painkillers.  Luckily, my favorite nurse was there who stuck me, and usually my fistula is very easy, but also VERY easy to infiltrate because its right there.  Well, there was a blood clot in the fistula line. I will not go into detail about the digging it took for them to try other places, until they finally declared it unusable.  The head nurse contacted a vascular surgeon, and I was set to go in the next morning to see if they could "unclog" the clot.  So the next morning, there I am, in the local hospital, the 4th surgery in a month.  They were able to unclot it, BUT the flow wasn't strong enough for dialysis.  Normally, they would put in a permanent catheter that would run directly to my heart.  I had a temp one when I first started dialysis, and they are no fun. Lucky enough, my nephrologist ordered no perm cath, since it was only supposed to be for two weeks. She decided instead that we would try a low fill on PD.  I have to lie flat on my back for sleeping for the next 3 weeks (*groan*), but is worth no hemo.

One day at a time.  One day at a time.

But I am this much closer to being on that kidney list. THIS CLOSE.
I've survived my (hopefully) last surgery until a kidney transplant--HOORAY!   But I've been banished to the land of Hemodialysis for two weeks (D:!).  Since I get to sit in a chair with needles in my arms again with not much to do for 3 hours,  Would any of you be interested in some small commissions?

3x5 Simple-colored art cards (or badge if you wish)  for $30, OR $20 for a 3x5 sketch- includes shipping in the US.  $5 goes to help Thorin (, the rest goes to kidney fund.  Unfortunately, this means that it will have to be Paypal only payments, since I'm only in hemo for 2 weeks. This also means that I probably won't be able to ship out your art until I get the ok to drive, or I can get someone to take me-BUT I will be happy to scan in your art when finished.

My strengths are in feral/Quads and also were-things.  Characters must be your own, unless you have permission from the person it belongs to as well.  I'm a PG artist, so please keep that in mind! If you're not sure, please ask me.

Since you are getting the original, I ask that you do not sell prints or profit from the piece.  If you plan to use it on a professional site, please ask me prior.

UPDATE:  Didn't get to do hemo today because my fistula has a clot. Being sent into a surgeon tomorrow to see if they can unclot it. If all else fails, its temp cath time. Please keep me in your prayers? This is really silly for two weeks worth of Hemo.  Gonna try to get in touch with kidney/gall bladder surgeon to see if its ok if I do low fill PD.   I really really really hope that will be the case -.-
Hey Guys!
I've gotten a few notes about doing Breyer  and other such commissions (which is AWESOME, thank you for your support! <3), and I know I haven't been able to address many of the comments and notes about it.  I apologize for that!

Since March seems to be the Month of Surgeries for kidney pre-list stuff, I am unable to accept them right now.  Because getting listed for a kidney is the most important thing to me right now, I may not be around much until many of these tests are complete.   I'm currently working on an updated price list for both Breyer Commissions and other commissions, so I ask to please be patient while I get myself back into order!

I WILL, however, be offering up some Breyer customs for sale in the near future- Proceeds to these auctions will go to benefit 3 things--  Funding my trip to Breyerfest, My kidney fund, and to help Thorin's retirement.

My kidney fund is self explanatory, but I feel I need to explain the other two. I haven't been able to go on a real trip to anywhere in years (2002 was my last trip!) because of health and kidney reasons. Since being on Peritoneal Dialysis, I feel I am well enough and comfortable enough that I can travel and do something FUN.  So I'm pretty set on Breyerfest this year.  That unfortunately means no Anthrocon, but it was a tough choice. So in order to come up with some extra funds, I'll be earning my way to go.

I'm not sure if you guys have heard of the story of Thorin, a Thoroughbred in desperate need of retirement and is still racing despite of some very painful health issues.  The fund is to retire him permanently, so he can stop racing when he is in so much pain, and to save him from a possible dismal ending.   You can help Thorin and read his story at his gofundme page here:…
One year ago today marks the day that I was diagnosed with ESRD, and was put on dialysis.  It's hard to believe its been that long.  I can't say I enjoy the needles, but at least I get cable when I go?

I know I haven't been updating here much-- I do more so on my FA.   I will update both FA and DA though on the kidney front if you guys are interested in hearing the kidney babble XD
Why yes, I'm hopelessly addicted.  But I think I have an even bigger problem.  I'm an imp hoarder ;.;  There, I admitted it. *dramatic back of the hand to the forehead*

Find me here on FR, or TyrFluffy #32452
I've been neglecting you guys over here, and I apologize for that.  I got more of a response on my FA account, so I've been putting in more journal entries there.

Back when I asked for information about a transplant, the kidney center where I get my dialysis done told me that I needed to put my name on the kidney transplant list, whether or not I already had someone lined up.  So I got the packet and looked at it.... and discovered I had a few appointments and tests I had to do first.  I couldn't schedule them right away, because, I just didn't have funds.

I was finally able to make the last two appointments, one of which I had today (hooray!)  The second and final appointment is coming up on the 17th.  So by Halloween, I should have all of the info they need so I can turn it in!

I'll try to keep you guys posted a bit better over here!

Thank you guys, so much again for all of your support and messages.  It makes me feel that I'm not in this alone. <3
It's hard to share a chunk of my personal life with people I don't even know, but I'm going to put this out there in hopes I can find something.

On July 10th, I was admitted to the hospital because of an abscess in my shoulder and some startling test results that had doctors worried about my kidneys.  I stayed for 3 and a half weeks, put on dialysis in attempt to bring my kidney functions back to normal.

After my hospital stay, I continued dialysis for a week when my kidney doctor declared that my kidneys were not improving, and diagnosed me with Stage 5 Renal Failure.  I hate dialysis, and I can't bear the thought of being poked with needles and hooked up to a machine 3 times a week for the rest of my life, crushing any hopes of traveling for vacations because I need that stupid machine.  I'm not even sure if I can return back to work, and my bills are piling high.

So, I am in search of a kidney donor.  I'm A negative, so a donor would have to be either A negative or O negative.  General regulations say that you must be at least 18, and no older than 70, and be in excellent health.  Donor recovery time is expected to be about a month, but can generally go back to work in 2-3 weeks, depending on their job. I'm located in sunny Florida.

If you can't donate a kidney and would like to help, the best way is to just spread the word, and I'd be grateful for it!  If you feel you need to help more, I have a donation link below.   Please note:  I am only putting the Link up here because people asked for it. I don't like taking money that I can't give something in return, but I will still truly be grateful for any generosity.

Thanks so much for reading
It was a tough decision, but instead of Attending Breyerfest to sell some of my models, I decided that I was going to go to Anthrocon instead.  Registration is secure, and waiting to hear back for my table.  I'll also have stuff in the art show this year!

At my table, I will have the Opinicus game, and will also be doing badge sales.  I'll also have some products from Chickensmoothie, such as buttons, stickers, plush, mugs, and more!

I don't want to offer too many things and be overwhelmed, so I need everyone's opinions on what you'd like to see both at my table and in the art show (if you aren't going, pretend that you are and tell me what you wish you'd see)

Of my past badges, what kinds would you like to see?  (Detail, badge, pocket, cute, loaf, hanging, something new, etc.)

Should I offer sketches?

Anything else you'd like to see at my table (prints, pathfinder decks, something new)?

What about the artshow?   What pieces are your favorites?  And/or what would you like to see up there?

Thanks for the input guys :)

If all goes well, :iconyearofdragon: will be chained to the table with me!
The Bad news-  Work pretty much cut my hours so bad I'm only down to one day a week.  :/  I am still looking for a new job, but finances are seriously taking their toll.  Unfortunately, that means no Breyerfest for me this year.   But.... all this time on my hands means something good too.

The good news--- I got a nice present this holiday of my casting stuff I need to carry on with my gryphon game!  I'm REALLY excited to tell you guys about this project, but I can't just yet.  But it does involve some adorable sculptures that you can't just have one of!  I'm hoping to kick these off officially within the next two months (with some teasers, of course!), and maybe, just MAYBE appear at Anthrocon instead of the scheduled BF.  We'll see how it goes.

While I wait for my casting stuff to come in, it gives me the opportunity to play in my art room! :D Right now, I'm still sorting some things, but I'll be working on some breyer customs in no time to finish and put on ebay.  I also have a ton of boxes of My Little Ponies (g1's and g3's) that I will be selling.  I hate to see them go, but I really don't have room, i need money, and I'd really like them to go to someone who will love them.  They include some customs, NIB, flawless, and some international ponies.  I KNOW an Italian Posey and a Brazil Parasol are in there.
Ok, I don't normally do these, but I've been asked to. Link me to your lists too!

~Step 1~
Make a post in your journal containing your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple to really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real-life things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where folks could get in touch with you.

~Step 2~
Surf around other lists to see who has posted their list. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream for free--do it. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special!

~Step 3~
The List

OMG this is going to sound like a giant greedy whinefest X.x I don't have 10, but i may add on, if I think of anything. Here we go, in no particular order:

1. Christmas cards!
I love getting mail, and getting these just make me happy! I tape them to the back of my front door so I can read them and smile all over them

2. Gift cards.
With not having a lot of work hours and needing stuff for my cats and food, I could always use something. Petco, Walmart, Target are probably the most useful to me.

3. Stuff off of my Amazon wishlist.
I'll Probably be adding more as I think of things.

4. My bills paid.
I have about 40k yet in hospital bills that I need to pay on top of my bills each month. With only 6 hours a week at work at the moment, and still recovering, I'm faced with pretty much an impossible feat.

5. Keurig K-Cups
My mom got me this awesome keurig machine. I LOVE it. the problem is, the cups are a little too expensive for me right now. My ultimate FAVORITE flavor is Donut Shop's Coconut Mocha, but I also like Rasberry Truffle, Chai, French vanilla and a lot of other flavored coffee. I don't really like Hazelnut or anything really bold or dark.

6. Breyer/artist resin Bodies
I'm totally serious. i prefer traditional, but I'll take any. Broken, chewed scuffed, mangled. I want them all. I like new ones too, but I'm running out of Room

7. A Trip to Breyerfest and/or Anthrocon 2013
I really miss Breyerfest, and have stuff I can actually sell there. This past AC realized how much I really miss everyone, and seeing all of my friends makes me happy.

8. A Laptop
Although I use a desktop for my work now, I found really missing being able to be portable. I just need something reliable that I can do some art on and surf the web while I'm at a friend's house or on vacation.

9.  A Full time job, with benefits,  which I enjoy doing.
Seriously.  I'm tired of this stupidity.

For those of you who asked for it:
Paypal: aimee[at]

CONTACT INFO: Just PM me ;) My address has changed since June. I'm going to assume you're just sending me a card, because that's how I am :)
Actually, I spent a week in the hospital eating crappy hospital food :D

I really wish I was joking. I found out I had an abscess about the size of a baseball in my stomach. A walk in clinic tried to treat it and it was getting worse, so I basically had to admit myself into the ER and have surgery to remove it. I'm home now, and sooo happy to be out eating real food.  Hospital food IS as bad as it sounds, especially the "Consistant Carb" diet. Yuck.

The fortunate thing is that this means I'm on the mend. I have some help this week since I'm not supposed to bend or lift or drive or anything for a bit.  Unfortunately, this means that I'm missing at least a month's worth of work with a job that doesn't offer any kind of sick pay.

So I'm going to try to push my gryphon project ahead as much as I can (provided if  I can actually afford the casting supplies now), and maybe offer up a few commissions or something (after I complete a few obligations) to try to recover my work loss costs.   I swear, I AM going to tell you more about this gryphon "game" when I have an actual figure cast.  I've been pondering this concept and thing for a very long time and how I was going to approach it.

Stay Tuned.

(posted to FA first)
O hai guys!
My status really hasn't been the best lately, and have been going through some health issues. I'm going to try to make it a point to upload some more stuff, or at least make some Journal entries of what I've been doing art wise. I need to know from you guys a few things.... Do you guys actually read journal entries, or skim over them? (otherwise, I'm not sure if there's a point to make them!)

I haven't been getting a lot of art done lately, but would you guys be interested in seeing things that I build in SecondLife?

I'm also pondering offering some quick commission type things on my days off, which could be anything from digital sketches and icons or traditional media. How many of you might be interested, and in what?

Since I had to move house twice within the span of 3 months within each other (once in March, and once in June...due to some bats. I'll tell the story another time), I'm having a hard time finding space for a lot of my stuff. I'm going to be offering a lot of stuff up here before I throw it out or give it to charity. It will probably all go on the basis of "Make an offer", depending on what it is, or even "you pay shipping and its yours". Yes, amongst these are a ton of MLP's (1st and 3rd gen).

That said, I have a Xyron 900 that I'd like to get rid of. It has a tiny bit of magnet cartridge and what looks like a full or nearly full roll of permanent adhesive. It's barely been used. If you'd like it, please make an offer and give me a poke.

A Few breyer customs coming up to show off. Nothing drastic, mostly repaints for a show that hopefully they'll go in mid Nov. *crosses fingers*

OOps, almost forgot to mention that I have an awesome Gryphon game coming up that I'm really excited to release!
