In reference to a classic paleo meme, it could pickaxe its opponent to death, perhaps taking a step back to let them bleed out.
The current animation works quite well.
Taking after the “heavy claw” aspect, its opponent would make one last lunge only to get smacked several times with the final smack causing an audible, yet satisfying crack.
Perhaps it could go in for the kill, lose its grip, and then side swipe its opponent with its head when they make that last ditch effort.
I honestly think an animation similar to the rex’s in Operation Genesis would do just fine.
It could grab one of its attackers legs in its beak and wrestle them to the ground. After this it would thrust its horns into its enemy’s chest.
A critical jab to the predator’s eye perhaps? I’m not sure with this one.
It could start the same as the ankylosaurus kill, but once its aggressor fell, it would smash their skull a few more times.
Utilizing its smaller size, it could leap onto its opponent and crush their jugular in a fashion not too dissimilar from modern big cats.
It could spit in its opponent’s face, run around them to throw said opponent off, then charge in for the kill.
It could grip and tear a hunk of its opponent’s meat out, and then proceed to eat the flesh as it has been hypothesized to do.
Again, I’m not exactly sure. Maybe it could incorporate its shoulder spikes, but that might look ridiculous.
Perhaps it could hit its opponent’s abdomen on one side and their head on another? Again, that might make it look ridiculous though
You remember how it took down Rexy? Just let it finish the job this time around.
It could grip its opponent’s skull, pull them to the ground and crush their head much like the Indominus but with perhaps a bit more malice.
One savage blow to its opponents abdomen. The predator would then take a couple steps and collapse. Quick and to the point.
It could charge its opponent, jaws agape, and go for the throat.
Perhaps it could grip its opponent and use its own weight to subdue the creature.
No idea. Just straight up, no idea. Does it even have one?
Given its long horns and legs, perhaps it could charge its foe like a bull, striking them in the side and then pulling back as they fall.
I think a few hard hitting tail swipes would do. Nothing too over the top.
In my scenario, its attacker would lunge, miss, and get gored by its shoulder spikes.
Given its very rhino-esque appearance, it could charge its attacker in a similar manner.
It could use its weight to push its opponent down and then step on their neck. Given its more delicate frame than say a Tyrannosaurus, it would have to exert the extra effort to finish the big guys off.
Literally the exact way it killed the rex in JP3. I like that execution.
Instead of striking its foe in the head, it should get the neck and have to properly pull its thagomizers out.
Playing on the outdated theory that it was an older Triceratops, perhaps it could use an animation similar to the trike from JPOG
I actually like the current animation. It suits the animal well.
The rex’s current kill animation was clearly made for it and it shows. This is one of the only animals that looks right doing it.
Again, its current animation works fine. Notice a pattern here?
