Watching a Dark Souls stream gave me an idea for a odd sort of gaming campaign. It's a post-apocalyptic game, set in a world that's been forsaken by gods and shattered by war. The PCs would start out as the protectors of a small band of roving nomads/survivors. Give them a couple of sessions where the focus is just on day-to-day survival, let the 'apocalypse' part of the setting sink in. Then they stumble on Lordran -- or the nearest local equivalent. Talking Comics

I had an idea last night for something interesting.  Basically, it's something of an animated comic; if you've ever played a Sly Cooper game and seen the inter-level movies, that's the sort of thing I'm talking about.  All I need is someone to do animation, art, and voices. Dunno how practical this is, but I think it could be really good.

So, uh, last week my computer started going wonky.  I called in my tech support/brother and he took it off to work on it.  A couple days later he calls and says the hard drive has a virus and he'll have to reinstall the OS. Me: "Uh, okay, whatever you have to do.  Will the My Docs folder be okay?" Him: "Oh, yeah.  Shouldn't be any problem." Me: "Alright." I got my computer back the other day, and in the middle of trying to find all my old bookmarked sites, I thought to check my Docs folder. It's, uh, empty. Completely fucking empty.
