Inktober Day 24- BLIND
You can wait here until next drawings are revealed or have it all revealed at behance

For this year, I've been dwelling in my old stories once again, this time re-imagining the pivotal "Spirit Fight" tournament, sticking how I could to match the official prompt list. On the championship, teams of three members fight each other through a group phase and then through three rows of classifying into the great final. This fighting championship involved techno-shamans from around the world. Given the disturbance, it was not strange to find techno-shamans from other dimensions, hailing from dystopias, utopias, with spirits, summonable allies and downloadable A.I.s more strange or familiar than the competitors themselves. Each had a question to settle in the fights, it's understood that merit would evaluate those who advance ahead. Couldn't be more wrong, as a mysterious competitor rigged the championship to begin with. They just find it out in season 5's finale (I guess...)

Present characters:
"Spy Lord" Spencer, summoner of the ghost of Harry Houdini, is ready to take a flight as his Team "Ulhaden NF" has been eliminated in the classificatory phase. He's approached by Xis, whose life has been started wthout a birth, being partition of someone else. As Spencer's powers of multiplication were always most notable, more than his joy in acting (one "gift" others still didn't see from him - they believe him to be an amateur and previsible wannabe for an actor), and certainly most regarded in a positive ligh than what he actually does (the entire "Ulhaden" teams were but cold-blooded killers, bounty hunters - despite the endless warnings on how you can't go farther in the Spirit Fight if all you want is pay the bills, he believed he could fool the Great Spirit), Xis theorized some matters...
Aware Lapolo, according to legend, split him from his own due the necessity of traversing time-barriers and use him as a bait to bring him into the present, he realized this barrier was but a tall lie. Lapolo was already born in the 80s, all he needed was to have the body reached certain maturity and meditated toward attaining awareness of it's position as the living image of the Spirit of Chaos, inheriting but the deeds of Ramesses, Atilla and Genghis Khan, to name a few. To that, a "sentry", the No-Faya Eye, served such purpose, as it was still protecting Lapolo due his original master (the spirit of chaos itself) being prized possession of other (who in certain circumstance set it free by a deal). So, Xis' lack of birth and his coming into existence was above all else, an accident, unless someone led Lapolo to it. For after all Lapolo could've believed in this time barrier, unaware of being fooled.

To that, he realizes Lapolo's been changed in the inside sometimes - fused with who "discovered" his tomb in the future once, to it's nemesis another time, and finally to antagonistical spirits  spirits, all who realized unless a sacrifice was made, he could be defeated only by the inside. This "weakness" was embodied in Xis. However, Lapolo changed too, no matter how many times he took parts of his own 'out'. One whom Xis was aware (through his summonable ally - the A.I. Moloch - which can't create or copy data, only delete) to have been "split, assimilated, recreated" was another A.I, Zon, who happens to be among Lapolo's masked retinues in the Spirit Fight Team "The Light". After extensive research, he found out Spencer offered a "failed" (considered kind of mute in comparison with ordinary "Spencers") duplicate of his to house the "next" Zon, since new Zons were born each decade. For example, the 80s' Zon became a major ruling power in the 2010s, but by the moment of the fights (in the 2000s) he just created his terrible company which enslaves other through capitalizing the slightiest data. With such monopoly, the 90s' Zon was denied evolution, and when moment came, the 2000s' took it's place. How much of it was still "assimilated" was in question. It was as good a Zon as it was a "Spy Lord". Zon foresaw his decay as time lapsed, so the circle of four (except the second which ran some different ways in programming and was deemed an error) promoted in-fightings on the next generations. The resulting "trio" lost it's firstborn to this competition and finally the last two became two sides of their empire, trying to manipulate Lapolo, something they've plotted to aeons ago, by the original cycle of embodiments Zon had (deemed The Father, defeated by stories' protagonist Aplo two years ago or so, in the original story-arc).
In the end, Xis realize Spencer tried to become a Zon himself, but got discouraged when he realized the next ones were just labrats. It seemed a loser's game. As Xis himself, whose life has no meaning (and whose has?) he was fated to become nutrient and data for someone else. As is in wilderness, nature, life. These A.I. and Cyborgs might be blind, but they see farther than those who have eyes to believe their own biases...
