Altairian Calendar

Concept art for Jack Thunder n' Friends. This calendar, surrounded by a double ourboros consisting of two wind spirits, lays out the major flashpoints within the year in Altairus. These are all taken from the Wiccan Wheel of the Year. These are not holidays, but rather a means of gauging progress within the year. Note that in Altairus, Autumn is considered part of Summer and Spring is considered part of Winter. In general, during the summer (Winter's End to Summer's End), the elements of Air, Fire, and Light carry more power, while in the winter (Summer's End to Winter's End), the elements of Earth, Water, and Dark are stronger. The powers of these elements peak on their respective solstices and equalize around the equinoxes.
