Darcie smiled a gentle, but grateful smile to her. It was now that Steph began to wonder why Darcie couldn't just do this herself, but that was a question she would have to save for later. Besides, Darcie seemed like a good person. If she could do it herself, Steph figured that she wouldn't have had to create that needle to begin with.
Upon having made her courageous decision, Darcie made her way over to Steph and lifted her under the arms.
“Thank you sweetheart” said Darcie as she carried the little plush girl out the door.
Steph watched as the duo left Darcie's garden behind and made their way onto one of the original paths in the park. Steph looked around nervously. So many people around, but nobody seemed to notice either of the girls. Still, it felt a bit odd, being carried around like this, and feeling someone's hands squishing her sides so much.
