Quack the Camera Bug/Mascot
Few days ago I noticed a bug living in my camera. After much worry and panic, I finally came around to the idea of this little fellow setting up residence within my camera, so I let him stay. I don't know where in the camera he's living, but he pops up every now and then to say hello (in perfect focus), then goes back to his home to sleep. He's now the official mascot of my Nikon D200. Now of course, every camera bug and/or mascot needs a name, and I was left stumped. What kind of names are suitable for camera dwelling creatures? I asked people for suggestions and the winning one was "Quack", suggested by salteh (https://www.deviantart.com/salteh) Using my camera phone

Camera, now home to 'Bug'
What shall I name the camera bug? I was taking some photos yesterday and a strange little bug appeared in the viewfinder. I didn't really think anything of it at first, just waved my hand past the end of the lens and it disappeared so I carried on. Didn't even realise at the time it was in focus. A couple of hours later and there it was again, this time, it didn't move! Of course, it was actually in the camera. It's only just had the sensor plate cleaned so I'm guessing it got in there around the time that happened, I really don't want to take the lens off and risk getting dust back in it, especially considering I don't need to change lens

Oioi!
My camera is back off holiday, with a nice clean sensor cover! So much for "It'll take a week". I bought it a present too, a nice new UV filter. I hope you all enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them (especially when the pictures came out just right without having to mess about with them). Please do not take credit for any of my work! I've already been pointed to someone doing this and I'm far from impressed by it. Feel free to be critical of any of my photographs. I'm still finding my feet with this camera and the subjects I'm taking pictures of. Any critique/suggestions would be helpful in possibly sending me in new directions

Weirdest Place on Earth?
I hope you all enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them (especially when the pictures came out just right without having to mess about with them). Feel free to use any of them for whatever you want, all I ask is if you intend to use them as stock images that you let me know in advance. Please do not take credit for any of my work! Feel free to be critical of any of any of my photographs. I'm still finding my feet with this camera and the subjects I'm taking pictures of. Any critique/suggestions would be helpful in possibly sending me in new directions and trying new things. Right now I'm just sticking to what I know; warm, vibrant
