Summary:

With a swift, fluid motion, Gaston scooped Snow White up into his arms, her body fitting perfectly against his. She gasped, her arms wrapping around his neck, her heart pounding in her chest.

Gaston’s voice was a low, certain growl, his eyes locked on hers. “You are mine, pumpkin. Tonight, and every night after. You will never leave my arms.”

Without another word, he turned and strode through the trees, his boots crunching over packed snow and brittle pine needles. The air was crisp, the sky a pale wintry gray that cast a soft light over the forest. Snow White nestled closer, her cheek against his chest, soaking in the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.
