Personality: She's very friendly and loves talking to people, being a bit of a chatterbox. Gretel has very strong maternal instincts too, and tends to rush to the side of anyone who needs help, especially children whom are crying or are lost. Despite being a friendly and approachable person, Gretel lacks empathy and only shows true care towards a few select people. If she doesn't like someone she tends to well, eat them whole.

History: Gretel was born hundreds of years ago as a servant of a stray god. A creature that could fight and consume any enemies that got into the God's path, she could switch to have a human appearance at times so that she could mingle with humans on errands for her God. The two of them worked together for a long time, until the God eventually was destroyed due to a lack of worship. They were executed by higher power, Gretel escaping in the scuffle. There was suspicion that she was simply just let off - the higher power thinking she was a mutt monster who was just wild and would stay there.

That was the case for another few hundred years, Gretel moving from forest to forest, making her way around the world until one day she was spotted by humans and dragged into their care. 

The humans whom managed to capture her belonged to a wealthy man with the alias "Weiss". Weiss ran a secret organization which captured wild monster-like cryptids, or just monsters in general in which they would then try to 're-educate' them into being an extremely well trained pet. Gretel was no exception to this; earning her name from this as Experiment MX 'Gretel'. Weiss would find cilents who wanted one of the monsters, and then train them accordingly to the cilents demands. In the case of Gretel, the person who would eventually buy her from the man wanted her to be a motherly and caring creature that would be able to entertain and care for children.

It was during this time that she came into contact with Weiss' son, Valour who was being trained to take over the family business, no matter how despicable it was. Valour ended up being in charge of overseeing Gretel's progress and the two of them ended up getting along, Gretel giving Valour false hope that his first re-education project was all going to plan. On the grand day where he got to reveal that Gretel was tame and able to be sold off, she turned on the male, attacking him and biting a huge chunk of his body out. Valour was thankfully able to be saved, although Gretel was then dragged to the depths of the lab to be killed for being a 'failure'. Once the scientists realized she couldn't be killed, they simply left her trapped there to hopefully rot away.

Years passed until one day someone approached Gretel's cage. It was Valour, whom seemed to of had made a complete recovery on the surface. She sat through his monolouge before then suddenly being freed by the male. Acting on a flight or fight instinct, Gretel immediately ran for the exit, causing a wave of destruction in her wake before then getting out Weiss' lab and returning back to the wild. 

She travelled by herself once more for a while, travelling across the ocean to America where she found herself meeting Valour again. Apparently he had been tasked with finding her after the mess he had caused but, he wasn't interested in returning back home. In a turn of events, Gretel revealed her human appearance to the male, deciding to travel with him. The two ended up growing close again despite the previous event, Valour explaining to Gretel that the parts she'd eaten away had been replaced with robotics, esstientally making him a cyborg. Soon enough they caught wind of the town called Indieville, deciding to head there.
