BNHA OC - Kagerou Akihiko

Hero Suit Notes: His boots serve as weights to keep him close to the ground, but allow him to continue to be able to float around without hassle. The sheet is also another weight in itself, and the material of it is being tested to become invisible with him when he 'passes' through. (Think of the fabric Violet had in the Incredibles? Yeah, that.) Apparently it's made by the same people who did Mt. Lady's hero suit fabric. Two robotic 'flames' follow him around as moral support, both containing recording devices - both speaker and video. 

Personality:
A male with an oddly apathetic exterior. He doesn't seem to display any sort of emotion most of the time, apart from maybe a grin or a slight frown now and again. A lot doesn't seem to really bother him, and he's a little uncaring at first. Although once most people see his hero outfit it's pretty obvious he's a bit of a jokester and likes to mess around. Despite the fact he doesn't show his emotions, he sure likes to say what he's feeling with a straight face which can be hilarious or annoying depending on the situation. He tends to be a bit chatty too, speaking with no filter at all more often than not.

Backstory:
Kagerou was born in a simple family that just included his mother ; Maria Akihiko, his father ; Ryuji Akihiko and his younger sister by 2 years, Rin Akihiko. His mother came from Europe and married his father, where they both settled down in Japan. In reality, Kagerou's birth was a surprise to his own mother, who had just assumed she was gaining weight (without really gaining any?) for a good few months until a doctor told her she was giving birth. Kagerou's weightlessness even existed back then, and there was a rush to make sure his birth would go down well considering the oddity of his quirk. 

For the most part, his younger life involved parents carrying around their floating child with a child leash until weights eventually were given to him so that he could stay close to the ground without constant supervision. He was very close with his family, and they would go out together often just for family vacations. 

Although his happiness wasn't to last very long; around the time he was 10 years old, his father, himself and Rin had been crossing the road when a villain whom was trying to escape heroes through a car case sped around the corner and hit the three of them. Ryuji had dove over to protect his two children, his quirk - being that of standard 'going invisible for a few minutes' unable to really help anyone involved. Kagerou had panicked in the rush of it all though, using the phasing ability of his quirk and letting the car go right through him. Unfortunately his father didn't make it to the hospital living, and Rin ending up losing her arm as it got crushed beyond repair. 

Unable to cope with the loss of her husband; Maria ended up dumping the children on relatives that lived in the city before then moving back to her home in Europe so that she could recover herself - although Kagerou hasn't seen his mother since. 

He ended up living with one of his uncles; Genta Akihiko, who did his best to try and give the child a normal life despite the tragedy that had occurred. Once it came around to choosing high schools - Kagerou was oddly adamant about going to UA - he wanted to be a hero, or something, someone that could stop horrible things from happening to others and ruining families like his own. Genta didn't fight him in his decision, allowing the boy to enrol in the High School where he's been ever since. Although he worries about how seriously he's really taking it - I mean, have you seen that hero suit?

Extra:

• Unless you're in his class, no one knows his actual name. Even at the sports festivals he's introduced with his hero name or the title of 'Ghost-Senpai'.
• This guy is always wearing sunglasses. The sun just irritates his eyes a lot and he's sensitive to bright lights.
• He also owns an array of shirts that have horrible and questionable Engrish phrases on them.
• His sister Rin is actually quirkless - she currently lives with one of her father's sisters and visits Kagerou regularly.
• He was originally 'Ghost-kun' but as he moved into his third year of school he ended up with the title of 'Ghost-senpai'. 
• He loves getting manicures it makes him feel alive
• "I want to be a snitch when i grow up!!!" - kagerou at some point maybe
• There's a group of first years who believe that he's actually a real ghost that died in the school a while ago.
