The Luster In My Broken Stars

When will I be able to say I will be ok again?
Has my time come to finally crush the darkness and light the warmth of my stars?
I no longer wish to get pulled down by the claws of Sadness and Pain.
With their clammy hands ripping through my hopes and goading my cries.
I crave only for Happiness and Serenity.
To find my stars and finally ignite the sleeping sky with every twinkle and shine.
I want to prove to the night that there should be light.
That I can be the best that I can be.
That I'm not just a withered star in the galaxy.
I might be weak and hide behind the moon,
but my disadvantage of a dim glow wont hold me back.
I'm scared most times, but someday,
I'll be the brightest stare in the sky.
