Description
Eros and Psyche, after finally being reunited despite efforts by many to keep them apart. This myth has been a favorite of mine for a long time, and I felt the need to finally illustrate it. What's odd, is that even though I love this myth, I hate sappy chick-flicks and stuff like that. 
Dunno, it's odd. But I'm really really happy with how this came out, so it's all good.

EDIT: Like so many of my pieces, this one had to be scanned in two parts, and then put back together in PS. Stupid scanners that aren't big enough for 12"x12" pictures.

This, and 'East of the Sun, West of the Moon' are two of my all time favorite stories, because the girl screws up, but she does what she can to fix it. I'm not as fond (but still enjoy) stories where the heroine sits and waits and talks to animals.
