The Con went well. It was great to just simply try it out. I'm thankful it was in its first year so I didn't have to be so worried that it wouldn't all work out. I'm sure everyone else there was a bit nervous too. There were a lot of neat artists there.
I did pretty well for sales, surprisingly. I have always been rather worried about my work but that helped me see that people actually like my work. Whoa.

I met a lot of different people, got commissions, and saw friends and family. It was really neat to see Wichita's con scene coming together. I'm used to the anime scene here (I attended its first anime convention years ago) so it's great to see how the comics/fantasy art/sci-fi etc scenes are coming to fruition as well. It's about time eh?

As such, I've been working on commissions along with raising my son at home. He's still pretty young so I'm thankful I can have this opportunity to work at home while being with him right now.

Hopefully I'll have some new pieces up soon. =)

I hope you all have been well.
I was accepted to my first con - ICT Comic Con!

So now I really have to get my butt in gear to create pieces for the AA.

It's been motivating, to say the least, and stressful haha but I think it'll be fun, especially since this con is in its first year. I'm looking forward to participating.

The only big cons I've attended have been Denver Comic Con, which had a crazy big AA, compared to even NanDesuKan. So who knows how this will be. I hope it'll continue to grow in the coming years and the AA and Con will be a success. =)
I fixed my computer so there's no more lag when I draw!
Because I have a Mac, the latest OS (Yosemite) caused Photoshop and Manga Studio to lag horribly. I updated MS and my tablet drivers and also changed my brush sensitivity on MS. I'm not sure which finally fixed it but I'm thankfully I had time to troubleshoot and finally solve the mystery.

Since I've been gone:

• I've been working on traditionally painting and now I can work more on digital.

• I may be able to attend a con next month. It'll be a first for me if it happens. =)

• Pokemon Go

I hope you all have been well. I still log on when I can and check messages and art. You're all so inspiring. =)
It's almost been a year since my last update and because my son is almost a year old I finally have time to get back into creating and studying art.

I'm currently teaching a portrait drawing class locally and working on various small design projects. It feels great to get back into drawing!

Hopefully soon I'll be able to complete a few paintings - once I figure out how to fix my tablet. Since the latest OSX Yosemite update my Wacom Intuos4 tablet has been lagging. It's frustrating, to say the least.

I've reset my preferences and re-installed the driver, to no avail. If anyone knows of another method that works, I'd be grateful.

In the next few weeks I hope to go through my backlog of art for my watchers and whatnot so I hope to see you all around and I've hope you've been well. :)

I’m sorry for the long pause here. I’ve been busy this last year with moving back home, finding a house, and a job, while also finding out that we’re expecting. Since this is our first child it’s been pretty exciting for my husband and I.

I’m due in April and I was finally able to sign up for a drawing class here locally. Since everything has finally settled down into a nice routine, I’ll have time to get back into that and hopefully I’ll be able to finish the course before he comes. =)
Check out my Scraps for sketches, if you're not watching them already.
I'm going to be adding a lot of studies I'm doing over the next few days.

I've been busy with life. My husband and I will be moving back home in the next few weeks.

I hope you all are well. =)
Bye~
I finally posted my page from the March 2014 issue. You can check it out on my Facebook page.

Also, I'm still interested to hear from you about what kind of tutorials you like or would like to see more on DA.

Between work and life, I'm glad I still have a drawing class I attend because it's helping to keep me sharp.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I'd like to make another tutorial but I was wondering what things you would like to see.

What issues do you struggle with when drawing or painting, either on the computer or with traditional media?

Let me know! =)
I'd like to get something nice for my husband since his birthday is this Friday.

I can do $10 color busts of your character or fan art. =)

Thank you!
I found out a few weeks ago that I have won a contest in ImagineFX. How exciting!
I'll post more details when I receive the magazine in the mail.

Also I've updated my Tumblr a bit so you can follow me there. =)

Don't forget to follow my Twitter and Facebook either, if you haven't already. =D
I received an email this morning about my art Tumblr, which I had forgotten about for quite some time.

So, this means that I'll be working on it and putting my art and artists that I like on there.

I'll let you know when it's ready to go. =D
Opening up quick sketch commissions because we need some money since my hours at work are few and far between.

I've been gone for a while because I went back home for a funeral. It was a sad time but it's nice to know that my Grandmother is in Heaven. I'll miss her a lot though.

Other than that I have a tutorial to complete and a lot of drawings to finish so I can start painting them. I've also been studying cloth and hands, which is always great for improvement.
