The Guardian

It took me 12 hours (I have a cold and there's nothing better to do ^^' ) and 238 Layers...
yeah and I'm really proud of this ^^
I think this is the best thing I've drawn after a long time.

Well at first I have planned something else...or, well, something more, there is actually one part missing.
And so: What exactly is this: It is not the guardian of water or storm, as you may think, I've drawn this and've been inspired by a film...

I watched a movie,called "The Guardian", a while ago, it's about the Coast Guard and I have to say, it's one of the best movies I have ever seen...
In the end there was something said that fascinated me (yeah
I know it's just Hollywood but I liked the idea):

"There's a legend... A man lives beyond the sea. He's a fisher of men, a last hope for all those who have been left behind, he is known as the guardian."

Well my guardian is a dragon, not a man...
(The missing part is the rescue helicopter an the sinking ship he protects with his wings)
