Nanowrimo

Yes, I'm doing National Novel Writing Month again this year, and November is plodding along. I reached 40k yesterday, catching up finally after being behind most of the month. http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/user/52804 - that's me on the nano site. I am planning on uploading some new stuff here once I hit my 50k on the novel (and also taking the pace down to 1k a day). I already made some new chainmaille pieces, and some beaded jewelery. I found rubber rings at my local bead store, which are great for bracelets without claps (I used them as the small rings in Japanese 6 in 1). I do also have something fun with origami paper, wood, and mod pod

Windows 7

My computer just got upgraded to Windows 7 yesterday, and it's pretty cool so far (well, except for the lack of sound, but a sound card will fix that - and it's been an ongoing issue, not just 7). I'm still in the process of installing programs back on the computer, so far I have anti-virus, and Fire Fox installed. But the best thing about Windows 7 so far, is they updated MS Paint a bit. It now has some fun "brushes". Not only that, but it no longer has a default file save type as jpeg. Now when I do pixel art I don't have to make sure to keep changing the file type when saving. Having it default to png is great. I'm still working on unpac

I restrung my  Silver Drop Necklace , replacing the nylon string with bead stringing wire. The string was starting to get a bit to much slack to it, and I put a better clasp on it in the process; replacing a barrel clasp with a lobster claw/trigger. I also put a new jump ring on a necklace I made awhile back so I could wear that again. And I made a new necklace. It was fun creating again, I was starting to miss my beads. I had three purple faceted glass beads (around 12mm), which I used some nice translucent Cze
