Envy, a poem.I was super inspired and I decided to share; a little fragment story to be told whole another day...
A pathetic, and pitiful being is trying to cheer up an angelic (but not an angel) being, by confessing his envy. Because she is depressed and feeling down, despite of being "the chosen one". Here is what he says:
I envy you
It's not your power to soar the skies as angel; to spread your wings like the Phoenix's or your magic to that gives the power make a difference. Even without all your adventures and wonders beyond this word you have seen and my mortal eyes will never see.
I envy you
You have the life I could have only dreamed off.
You are intelligent, smart and so beautiful, that your smiles draws a twin on my own face. But all this pales in comparison to the kindness that comes from your heart.
You don't care what others think of you, you are always yourself full of joy and never afraid of being silly of being your
Enter RosierAngel clutched her staff tightly, as she followed Malachi through the dark winter night, sensing the demonic presence growing stronger.
“We're getting closer. I can feel it.” Malachi stated.
“Hmm!” Angel nodded in response, a look of determination on her face.
“Yoohoo!” they heard a voice shout from behind them.
The duo turned to see standing behind them a tall, curvaceous woman with wavy jet black hair, wearing a long black fur coat over a skin tight red dress. What struck Angel as odd about her were her eyes, which were a light shade of magenta, with a hint of a hungry gleam in them. Malachi, on the other hand, was too busy focusing on her cleavage, which was spilling out of the top of her dress to notice her unusual eyes.
“Heeey,” Malachi replied, with a shy wave, and a small smirk on his face. Angel couldn't help but scowl, a part of her wanting to smack that smirk off his face.
“Do you think you could help me?
Demon Battles Volume 1 Prologue: RevisedAngel sat on the wooden swing under the big oak tree in her spacious backyard, occasionally swinging her legs back and forth. She sighed as the summer breeze blew through her shoulder length auburn curls. It was always her favorite tree, for it held a very special memory.
She closed her eyes as she reflected upon that day. She was only six years old. It started out as any other day. She was in her backyard, skipping rope and humming a happy tune.
“Hey there!” She heard a voice behind her. Angel turned her head to see who it was, her pigtails swaying behind her. There, in front of the shrubbery stood another little girl, with long, wavy blond hair, pulled back in a ribbon headband, wearing a dark frilly dress. Just a normal little girl, except for the cat ears that sat atop her head. Angel overlooked it, thinking they were probably fake.
“Um, hi,” Angel responded, hesitantly.
The little girl placed one of her arms over the othe
My GuardianI see him often in my dreams: A tall, lean figure with wild golden hair and silvery eyes, with the shimmering wings of an angel. He was always there, protecting me from the demons that haunt my nightmares, until recently. Lately when I see him in my dreams, it's from a distance, watching me struggle from afar, as if we drifted apart. What does it all mean? Who is this mysterious stranger that plagues my dreams?
My thoughts were interrupted by my friend Jessie. After she caught my attention, she threw a note on my desk, except she missed the desk and it hit my head instead. I turned towards her and gave her a stern look. “Sorry,” she mouthed as I began to unfold the note.
“Are you still going to the party tonight?” the note read.
I grabbed the pen that was sitting next to my notebook and wrote “Duh! Why wouldn't I be?” before tossing it onto Jessie's desk.
As I was pretending to take notes, I cou
