[Spark] Finding what lies within
Every Vayron has magic. That's what Asha had told her. It was just a matter of finding it and bringing it out to affect the world around them.
Xenia wasn't so sure. Asha had filled her head with tales of Vayron spewing fire, commanding water, summoning shields of light and sending bolts of pure energy at their foes. She had tried her hardest to spit even a spark or command a puddle, but she had seen nothing.
Sighing, the Puller glanced around their hidden camp. It was a in a small clearing deep within the forest, with thick trees all around, grown so tightly together that it was only viable to enter through the two gaps in the trees to the east and north. They had made a tent with the leather they had gathered from deer hide, and the bear pelt from their first kill now acted as a carpet for them to lay upon at night.
Standing, she stiffened, breathing out hard. Nothing.
"Still trying?" Asha's voice drifted to her, the Puller glancing to the Kinnara, who was working on her

Their stomachs growled as Xenia crept through the undergrowth, slowly closing in on the herd of deer they had been tracking for the past two hours. Or rather, Asha had tracked. Xenia was still learning, though she was a fast study. She had learned the signs and clues to search for various prey, but she was still a greenhorn at it and relied on Asha heavily.
The Kinnara pulled her dagger as they stopped, staring at the herd of deer. White rears pointed towards them, like blazing bullseyes that made Xenia mad with the desire to just charge in and tackle one. But deer were fast, faster than Xenia. She had learned that the hard way. Asha was patient at least, understanding the young Puller's eagerness.
Asha signaled for her to move to a new position, closer to the deer but still in cover. Xenia obeyed, stalking through the shadows. She rested back on her haunches in her new position, eyeing the deer as they calmly grazed, unaware of the hungry pair watching them. Her paws twitched

Xenia stared at the wall silently, tail whipping slowly behind her. It was time. She had enough of this place. She'd had enough of it ever since she'd gotten a taste of outside. She hated everyone here. Everyone except one...
Asha the Kinnara. She wasn't 'human enough' for her captures, and so was enslaved like herself. They used her for the worst jobs, mostly cleaning the stalls they kept their Vayron slaves in. Xenia wasn't sure what had happened to her before she came to be in the possession of their captures, but her golden eyes were always so sad, with a deep resonating loss that stung even the young Puller's soul.
She watched as the door opened, still as Asha walked in with her cleaning supplies. The guard behind her did not phase Xenia, and was clearly not paying attention. Xenia had given no trouble since that day she had escaped and had it all torn away far too quickly.
Well today was different. She leapt past Asha befor the door could shut, knocking the Kinnara to the

All Xenia, or V-179 as she was better known, had known since birth were grey dim rooms, with a few odds and ends scattered within for enrichment. A deflated, well chewed ball, a raggedy rope toy twisted in knots, and an old limbless teddy bear. Their smell alone drove her away most of the time, the scent of unfamiliar Vayron and the others, the strange two legs that dominated her life.
Pacing the room, the young Puller kicked the deflated ball out of her way, grimacing as a cascade of scents erupted from it. So many unfamiliar mouths on one object, subjected furious gnawing and anxious nibbling. She could swear she could feel the aura of unease and unhappiness of the previous owners resonating from it, and she made a point of keeping it as far from her bed mat as possible.
The bed mat was an inch in height, stuffed with straw. It was far from comfortable, but it was all she had ever known. She walked to it, eyeing it consideration before kicking it out of the way. She kicked again
