Newspaper Clippings from 'The Los Angeles Herald', advertising my amazing and curious specimen.
This was for an October Art show at the EVE Gallery in Pomona Arts Colony entitled, "Carnevil".
My piece was actually a slew of misleading news articles and advertising for a Feejee Mermaid, along with the actual specimen. The whole campaign was very closely modeled after the hoax made famous by P.T. Barnum.
