Duct Tape? I'll Give Him A Duct Tape...

I drew Klungo, so I had to draw this guy. Ze Professor from Conker's Bad Fur Day, one of the last games for the N64.

Why did I draw this guy? Because he's an angry German cyborg weasel with no legs that tried to destroy the world with teddy bears, evil ventriloquist dummies sewn onto giant monster teddy bears, and Xenomorphs and therefore is awesome.

For some reason, I felt like redrawing fanart from the oldest reaches of my gallery lately. Ze Professor is a character I've butchered repeatively when I was younger and didn't know any better. I've stored most of my old fanart that I had in my DA gallery of the guy (because it really was kind of badly drawn and terrible) but one's still floating around, occasionally getting faves.

You know, I don't see that many people talk about Rare's last N64 game, Conker's Bad Fur Day. It wasn't a masterpiece like Banjo-Kazooie, sure (although let's be honest; nothing can beat Banjo-Kazooie), but I personally liked it. It was a short game, but it was pretty fun in places. It was also humorous, and I think the humor that worked best was when they did tongue-in-cheek riffs at Rareware conventions, like the anti-gravity chocolate (a nod towards hovering objects in every Rare game) and Conker saying "Well I never, a talking pitchfork!" to a googly-eyed inanimate object gifted with speech.
And the multiplayer was one of the best multiplayers ever.

This picture took a LOT longer than I was expecting it to. Part of the fact comes from the fact that Ze Professor is NOT an easy character to draw, part of it came from the fact that I included a background (I need to draw more of those), but most of it came from the fact that I've never done glowing effects before and therefore I used this picture as an experiment. So basically I spent way too much time on this drawing. XD

I also tried to make Ze Professor look somewhat like my interpretation. I like the idea that he would've been very attractive for his species if it wasn't for the fact that he's missing pretty much most of his body, and he's just consumed with this rage that's been building up for decades. Unlike Klungo who is pretty much satisfied with his lot in life, Ze Professor hates absolutely everything. And he's really dangerous because of it.

...and yet he can't figure out how to fix a table. Scientists in Rareware can't figure out menial tasks. (Klungo, it shouldn't take two years to move a boulder, what the hell)
