I love the imagery that the early chapters of the silmarillion bring to mind. The starlit world of the Elder Days, before the sun and moon, before men. It might as well be another planet, it's easy to imagine it as a world of plants and animals that no longer exist, and wars and skirmishes between elves and goblins. A world of pure fairie. If only I drew faster

Great action sketch here. Makes me think that these are lesser Orcs fleeing an ambush by the Green-Elves and desperately thrashing through the undergrowth to get away from the keen-eyed archers glimpsed only briefly in the treeline.
