Oct 11th - Nick passed away @ 9:10pm. there were 30 people in the room with him and he fought till his last breath like the true Wolf he was. Oct 16th - I turned 25. Oct 17-19th - I attended Furfright, had a blast and can't wait for next year. Oct 25th - Nick's funeral (he was cremated) and memorial service. Had the most... interesting funeral dinner of all his favorite foods. Chinese food, sushi, pizza, and little bowls of skittles, gummi bears and beef jerky. My dear friend, Nick Francis, is dying of Cystic Fibrosis. He's 26 years old and has been going downhill swiftly over the last year. On Wednesday we were told that he has irreversible skin breakdown (essentially his cells are liquefying and he's decomposing while still alive.) and that if the CF doesn't kill him, the skin breakdown will. He's chosen to fight this and not take the 'easy way' out, even though it means a slow lingering death that could last for weeks if not months. So I'm back. It WAS a power source issue and now things are running smoothly.I've got a friend coming next month to upgrade this piece of scrap metal. I've moved again and I'm now getting settled into my new place. Luggage is getting used to things as well but i can tell he's pissed that he can't run around free as much as he used to. There's a lot of artwork I have to scan, so as soon as I'm totally done with my old apartment (ie cleaning and getting everything out of it) I'll take a free day to scan and post the tons of doodles I've done in the last 2 weeks.
