"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Okay its been a while since I have literally did anything on this deviant art. But now it is totally time, buckle up children, incoming rant!
So it has been well over a year since I subscribed to CC for college and I canceled it after a few months. Why? Because even with student edition of it all, they bill you more and more as the time goes on. And it becomes so damn expensive that it becomes hard to even continue, I had to seek alternative software for my class! I switched over to GIMP and Paint.net for most of my work. Sure they didn't really preform as much as I wanted them to, but its what to expect!
But the packages of Creative Cloud were pretty okay...Photoshop and Illustrator are amazing. But Flash failed to deliver what I had expected from the Adobe world. Where was the mindset that they had in CS3-CS5? Oh no where, that's right. Flash was literal shit compared to CS3 version! I honestly couldn't deal with it anymore.
But what urks me the most has to be Adobe's monopolistic ways and the second they make a new shiny piece of crap, they kick aside the other decent software! Remember CS6? You do? Cute, tie that memory to a tree and shoot it. Its gone! Try buying CS6 now and you will walk into a wall of "BUY FUCKING CC!!" all over their site. Cant take more than a step without stubbing your crotch on the end table of Adobe CC.
My advice, try Gimp and Paint.net, they are decent. But if you are the political party of the free information exchange (Pirate bay users) please seek a torrent of the Adobe Creative Suite you are after. CC was just a solid waste of money that could not quite deliver.
I am fairly new with several of my programs so I am picking it up slowly. I use Paint.net and adobe products. And the pen tool is still slapping me around. But I still use paper and pencil! So expect me to upload my drawn art through pictures.
