in a character design level, I can't disagree.

ik ppl love BFDI, I watched BFDI when I were slightly younger (Leafy is my favorite character)

but, both designs are awful. country balls for being just spheres with flag colouring and white eyes. BFDI is slightly more creative (animated objects), but is still lazy as fuck. it's so lazy that if you remove the face and limbs of the characters (stick limbs are lazy, though I can't complain since I have some few characters with it) it looks like some plain stock vector cartoon image of an object
