Seems I get around to changing my journal only during elections, winterfest online and around convention time.
Preparations are being made now for both.
This year Winterfest Online 2010 is in February.

My mom, :devtunnelbrat:, passed away today.Wednesday, March 3rd, she had a stroke while doing errands in town. She was taken to Tawas Hospital by ambulance and then flown by helicopter to St. Mary's in Saginaw. For the first week things looked very good. Then there was a rebleed and pressure on the brain and she started losing brain capacity steadily for the next week. Friday dad took her off life support, and today her body stopped breathing.I just thought it should be known.:devdixey:

We did it. It feels so good to know that as small as my part was, it was being duplicated all over the country and THAT made a difference. (We cheered when McCain announced he was giving up on Michigan.)It's going to be hard, but we have turned in a new direcion.Now back to art. ;)

You said you provide links for the online convention at the site every year? Would you be kind enough to feature my Vincent portraits? I remember you mentioned something about doing that. Particularly the one in sepia and the one titled "The Other". After I did those two, I don't like the purple one, so much. I'll try to get another Vincent drawing (this time with Catherine) done before Winterfest ^_^. Thanks!
