This is absolutely beautiful. I wish we had a Beauty and the Beast convention here in Florida, but sadly no. It's a miracle if one finds anything Beauty and the Beast related at any convention. I found my bumper sticker at a tiny sci-fi convention and I thought I died...but here I am, still hoping to find something!

We've had 4 conventions in florida.
To find the B&B stuff you have to be in the fandom (to start try here: [link] ) Ebay has things up quite often, and there are many artists with shirts, calendars, etc.

New Orleans convention was wonderful. It was great having all the rooms on the same floor and with connecting balconies. I enjoyed the cooking school trip... all the trips were great and the food was excellent. We found the best food right across the street from the hotel on Burbon.
Where in MI are you now?

That sounds like a blast. good food always makes a trip, especially when it's good seafood. Any cool souvenirs? Zines? Plans a not so secret invasion...

We're in Alpena now, Just a stone's throw away from East Campus, our old stomping ground. Somehow I can't explain this strange urge I've been having to make a sculpture for the front porch... Steve found a job shortly after we moved back and we saved up some money to rent the place. It's a cool old farm house we're renting. Claw tub, flour bin, potato drawer... lots of cool old antique doorknobs that I wish I had keys for. Nice dank basement for sculpting... and other creative endeavors that call for a dark atmosphere. We just moved our stuff in the last two weeks and the place is finally starting to feel lived in.

Actually I have a necklace made by Tamara. A close replica of the original Catherine necklace she made for the show.

The house sound super interesting.
