Hmm, so I've been gone a while and the biggest change to the site seems to be the whole "groups" thing catching on... When I was here before, I don't remember groups doing anything except sharing stamps, but now lots of art somehow is connected to them. Mission: to find some and see how they work. :]
Yaay, all kinds of stuff happened, like I moved, got a new job... #stuffthatgetstweeted. Then my DA Account expired and some parts of the site interface changed while I was gone. But now I have it back and I'm still fixing/re-creating my profile. I'll go through new posts and work backwards.
This weekend I bought some watercolors, paper and aquarelle pencils; now testing new hybrid paint techniques. I'll practice this for a few weeks to gauge if it seems to be getting better. It's definitely fun for me. I feel like next I need to draw some Tiger & Bunny. Or Uta Prince (oh what, no I don't need to draw that ridiculous show... and yet...
Wow, the site has changed a lot since I had to leave, but... HEY THERE!
I've missed everyone and I'm sorry in advance if it takes me a long time to get back to all the comments, notes, etc. left while I was gone... over four months now so I've got catching up to do.
But my arm is feeling better YAY and it's summertime YAY drawing! During the time while I couldn't draw, I began scripting the story for another long-form comic, and thinking about how to make it without the software I lost in the HD crash. Still in progress.
On top of that, summer time also means geek mode activates. Lots of conventions and all the DS I've been playin
Gotta say the same as previous commenters. I visited tenkay early in your start on it, back in the early/mid 2000s after I got my start playing the game around '02. Seeing something in your style about one of my favorite pastimes totally rocked. Being from the east coast myself led to a lot of awesome daydreams of what it'd be like to get to play some of the judges, especially Chaos.
