Geode Bowls

These tiny little dishes are inspired by geodes, with a rocky texture on the outside highlighted by various stains, and bright, shiny glazes on the inside. I started making them for the crested gecko I adopted, Niji, because I didn't think the mass-produced resin dishes available in the store were beautiful or unique enough for my pet!

They are perfect for a variety of small animals. The little round ones are excellent for crested gecko diet or similar for day geckos, gargoyle geckos, or crested geckos or other frugivorous lizards. The larger dishes are perfect water dishes for small lizards or little snakes. They'd also make great food dishes for small rodents like rats, hamsters, gerbils, or mice, or for small birds like finches, budgies, cockatiels, or small conures. These also work just great as trinket bowls or ring holders! 

I'm currently in the process of making several more in a variety of other sizes as well that might be appropriate for larger animals, as well as more at this size, because I just love them. I'm also going to experiment with some other glazes inside. I love the greens and blues, but I know some people like reds and other warm colors as well!
