Amber Tenmoku and Black Pitcher

A slip-decorated pitcher. It reminds me of sand dunes under a night sky.


Porcelain with engobes. This tenmoku glaze is the one I use to compliment the transparent green I use with a lot of the pieces I do illustration on, and it just interacts so well with texture. I love this glaze combination. 

I tried to go for the professional light box type photography but eh, I'm not feeling it. Haha. I like my outdoor shots better. (I actually took this photo and listed it prior to my Steller's Jay bowl; I went back to the outdoor shot for that.)
