Eunice, played by Marina Berti in the 1951 classic, Quo Vadis Starring: Robert Taylor, Deborah Kerr and Peter Ustinov
--A slave from Greece, who is sold to the Roman senator, Petronius (a close confidant of Emperor Nero). They fall madly in love with each other. They die in each other's arms after the burning of Rome.
"Quo Vadis" means "Whither goest Thou" in Latin. It's meaning comes from the message that Jesus Christ said to Peter called Simon: ---Quo Vadis, Domine? (Whither goest Thou, Lord?) ---Romam vado interum crucifigi. (I go to Rome to be curcified a second time.)
