A cold morning on the high street

A practise painting. I tried to built some kind of sad cyberpunk world. Without making it too obvious

I think this looks great but maybe it could be another sad day for a lonely depressed commuter on their way back to the office on the weekend. Heh heh...

It looks clean and not dreary, but at the same time the lack of anything green does imply a cost that has been paid subtly over time. A world that is faster, more effecient and cleaner, but without a place to escape or relax. Maybe it's incorporated in the scene, or maybe it's because I read the description that I can't unthink the pink elephant. Either way, the little variation in colours do create a somewhat sad vibe. The blue/green elements in the center and top might even be breaking this sadness up a bit.

In the end I think it can be interpreted in multiple ways (somewhat sad, a calm morning or an industrial section of town).
I wonder how a small worn piece of (once) colourful graffiti in the back or at the side would influence the scene and if that might help project a sense of sadness.

I like it. It reminds me of Cyberpunk for sure.
