Space Needle and International Fountain

The Space Needle was the symbol of the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair, Century 21.  At a height of 605 feet (184 meters) it was once the tallest structure west of the Mississippi River.  At the top is an observation deck and a restaurant that revolves at a rate of one full revolution per hour. 

Another relic of Century 21 is the International Fountain.  The fountains basin is 200 feet (67 meters) in diameter.
