Magic ball

I think this was actually the first 3d project i ever did - this was before the pod racer, but it was done in lightwave, not maya. It's funny to think that (due only to inexperience), this image took about 6 hours to render..! I remember whacking all the settings i could find up to maximum, and then thinking it was par for the course that i had to render these images overnight
