The paper is a copy of the drawing Kila made for Katie all those years ago, retrieved from backups of drone camera footage from just before the crash. It's a simple but heartfelt depiction of them together, each the wrong size, hanging out outside Kila's "house" on a sunny day. On it, Kila has scrawled their names and the date, "Wednesday 14 August __82," the year being partially obscured by Katie's hand.

Katie turns around to face the window, watching the dusk fade behind the city lights. A new day begins tomorrow.
