Poor Katie.
honestly it seems like a really stupid move on Milimet and the other 'higher-ups' at the facility to not let Katie stay a just a bit longer, at least until Kila got back from her mission so that they could have a chance to say goodbye to each other. Kila will obviously not be happy (to say the least) to learn that after just risking her life to save them, they decided to send away the only person who she had ever really known and who actually cared about her with no formal goodbyes or anything and didn't even tell her. I am not 100% certain, but part of me thinks that Kila might decide to go searching for Katie after she gets back...
