Don Tashla

Oh man, it’s this guy. Remember him? Don Tashla is the infamous kaproga (his goat-like species) that works at a popular coffee shop in District 4. He likes his job because it pays quite a lot and most of the actual work is done by machines; he just has to stand there, take orders, and push buttons. The customers like his blunt personality and are amused by his lack of any sense of danger whatsoever, so he’s become a fixture of the local community in east District 4. He doesn’t actually own the place, but he sure acts like he does. Desdeg sees him most every weekday and sometimes tries to strike up a conversation with him, which works about 25% of the time. For as much as he has to deal with kintas, he doesn’t really like or respect them. He finds amusement in their quirks, but they and their deep pockets remind him of something he will never be.

When he’s not at work, Don is known to do a variety of questionable activities. The rumor is he’s pretty good at gambling, and he has several misdemeanor offenses under his belt. He lives a shabby old duplex on the edge of District 10 with a lawn kept in immaculate condition probably because he wants to feel like he has power over something, even if it’s weeds. On a nice day, or during his hour-long commute, you may spot him driving his extraordinarily large SUV, pretending for a moment that he’s on top of the world.
