Merry Christmas everyone!
I was browsing Daz3D and Renderosity looking for some really basic sandal heels, you know the kind that look good with any formal or club-wear, but while there are a million high heels available for G8F they all either have a ton of straps or are jewel-encrusted or have huge platform heels (don't get me wrong there's a ton of quality footwear out there, it's just that I wanted something simple). So I decided to make myself a pair in Blender.
As you can see they really are nothing fancy but they do go with everything (my Lovely Black Dress
for example) so I hope someone out there can find some use for them.
The construction is very low-poly and makes use of sub-division so I recommend keeping sub-div high for them (~5 is ideal). There is an adjustment morph for the front strap if the toes clip through them (Daz's Alexandra 8 morph for example has very unique feet), but there's no guarantee they will work with all morphs that significantly change the feet. The back strap can be hidden if need be. A foot pose and a reset foot pose are also included.
I created completely custom weightmaps for the shoes so technically they will work in all sorts of foot poses but of course shoes like this in real life aren't really meant to bend so I do recommend sticking with the included pose. Just apply it after applying whatever body pose you want to use.
