in the midst of the field of battle stood an immense sculptured titanium latin letter "S"; when approached, one could see that two swords were plunged inside, one with a hilt marked "self", the other with a hilt marked "species"
the blade marked "self" could be handled, and an essay to draw it made, but for all my brawn and skill i couldn't coax a budge
the other blade, marked "species", wouldn't be touched; every time i went to handle it it disappeared, my hand passing through bare air, only to reappear once i had made each pass
