Hi everyone!
A few months ago, I ran a fundraiser to help a friend get settled in a new apartment. All was well for a while, but at the end of May they suffered a stroke. While they are recovering beautifully, I don't think I need to explain the failures of the American healthcare system to most of you.
Koa is in need of a new pair of glasses. Insurance will cover half, but they still need $400 to cover the rest. To help with the difference, I'm offering commissions!
Here's the deal: You go to Koa's Ko-Fi and make a donation. Take a screenshot of the receipt (I need to see your name and the amount you donated so I can confirm it was you) and send me that screenshot on Tumblr, dA, or BlueSky. Once I've confirmed the amount you donated, you get a commission!
Here's the price menu (Each links to an example in my dA gallery):
-- Portrait (Shoulders and up, no arms) - $20
-- Bust (Chest and up, includes arms) - $30
-- Fullbody (Humanoid only - I'm going insane drawing so many horses lol) - $40
-- Illustration (1 character in a full background) - $100
All commissions are subject to my Terms of Service.
I will draw lots of things! I'm best with humans/ humanoids, animals, nature, fantasy, science-fantasy, and modern characters, but I'm happy to take a look at most requests. I would love to draw your D&D character. >w>
I will NOT draw NSFW, fetish content, hard drug use, or anything hateful.
I reserve the right to deny any commission for any reason.
Anything we can get is utterly fantastic. I know lots of people are tapped out right now, so even a dollar or two in that ko-fi would be very appreciated. Every little bit helps.
I will be running this fundraiser at least until the end of August, 2024.
Thank you so much in advance for any help you can give. <3
Want me to draw your character for a good cause? Check out this journal!
EDIT - Jan 20, 2024
Hi all! Thanks so much to everyone who ordered. A temporary solution has been found and the situation is no longer dire. As such, I am closing fundraiser commission slots. I may reopen them sometime in the future as Koko could still use any help we can give, but for now I need to focus on my current to-do list before I scramble my brain. The current batch I'm working on will be completed in the order they were received. I'm still on track to have them done by the end of February, but sooner if I can wrangle it. =)
The donations received to this point have been so incredibly generous and helpful, and we thank you all very, very much. <3

Hi folks! I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday season!
Unfortunately, a friend of mine is ending the year in a really tough situation. I won't get into all the gritty details, but the short version is that they've been saving up and apartment shopping but their parents have decided to be typically awful and expedite the process by kicking them out before they're ready. They've been told they can only stay at home until January 31, 2024. They were told this on December 28, 2023.
If you'd like to hear about the situation from Koko themself, they've made a post about it here: https://ko-fi.com/tangerinesunsets
In order to help them raise the money they need for a deposit and to get their feet under them, I thought I'd do a little fundraiser. Please see the link below for details and a menu of commission options at a discounted rate.
All you need to do is make a donation to their Ko-Fi, then screenshot proof of your payment and send it to me. You can redact any information you don't want me to have, but please leave the amount of your donation clear and your username or at least the first part of your email so I can confirm your identity and payment.
I'm offering everything from cute little chibis to busts to full-blown illustrations, to funky blind redesigns of your existing characters. I'll draw your OCs, ARPG characters, TTRPG heroes and villains, whatever!
The link below will take you to a google doc where I've compiled relevant links, the menu of available commission types, and a running list of commissions in order of arrival.
Anything you can offer would be appreciated more than we can express. My goal is to have any commissions ordered during this push finished by the end of February, but this could change based on how many commissions come in and what type they are.
Thank you! <3

I'm usually at least a bit on the busy side starting in about September - October-ish every year, but this year is a doozy. It's going to be worth it, and also super satisfying when it's all done, but I'm a little overwhelmed, if I'm being honest. To get my thoughts in order, I thought I'd make a little checklist here. Maybe it'll interest some folks?
I'll be updating this as I go to track my progress. ... if I remember. Big if. =P
TL;DR - Commissions are closed at least until the end of the year, and I am a very busy silph. If you hear a mad cackling echoing through the dark nights, it's me. I've gone out of my mind.
October:
-- ElysiumChronicles Drawloween Event - 31/31 portraits
-- Boucle-Unicorn Boucleween Event - 31/31 scenes
-- NaNoWriMo prep - outline polishing
-- Last short story for Small Moments and Loose Threads (offshoot of last year's NaNo fic)
-- x1 fullbody trade
November:
-- NaNoWriMo - 50k words - Sequel to The Age of Redemption
December:
-- Boucle-Unicorn Bouclemas Event - 0/25 chapters (assuming it's the same as last year)
-- Christmas art (gift tags and cards - a small list, thank goodness)
-- Leaving this space open for other events because I imagine there will be one or two more that I'm interested in
Next year I'll be looking at making better progress on some other projects that have, for a variety of reasons, fallen by the wayside (like Anger Ham and my Boucle design and ref backlog) but for now... this is enough, thank you kindly! Wish me luck!
YHH auction is live!
If these aren't up your alley, normal commissions are also still open. <3
